"Grace" – Ocean Whale Tail Board (Back View)

"Grace" – Ocean Whale Tail Board (Back View)

Description
Shipping & Return

"Grace" reveals the elegance of the ocean from beneath — the view as a whale disappears into the blue. This board celebrates silent beauty, reminding us to pause, breathe, and flow.

Each board is handcrafted from natural padauk wood and ocean-inspired epoxy resin, then finished with a food-safe hardwax oil made from tung oil, beeswax, and natural plant resins.
Certified to meet EN 71-3 European safety standards for food contact, this finish ensures a smooth, durable surface that enhances the wood’s beauty while keeping it safe for everyday use.

Though made for wall display or shelf styling, Horizon can also serve as a charming board for light bites — cheeses, fruits, or pastries — during casual gatherings. For occasional cutting, simply flip the board to its wooden back side and protect the surface with a towel underneath.

Whether decorating your home or hosting in style, this dual-purpose piece is a gentle reminder of open skies, salty air, and slow-living moments by the shore.

📝 Please Note

  • Each piece in this collection is entirely handcrafted — not mass-produced. As a result, every board will feature unique wood grain patterns and ocean resin waves, making no two pieces exactly alike.

  • Product photos are taken using a blend of natural light and studio lighting to best reflect the color and texture. However, the actual product may vary slightly in color due to lighting conditions or screen settings. These natural variations are part of the handmade charm and what makes every Holilto piece truly one-of-a-kind.

The Process

The Story Behind Your Ocean Resin Board

Where the Ocean Meets the Craft

Our story begins not in a workshop, but by the water’s edge — where waves roll gently ashore, sunlight dances on the surface, and the air carries the scent of salt and freedom. This is the moment we bring into your home, captured in a handcrafted board that’s as beautiful to look at as it is to use.

Selecting the Perfect Canvas

We carefully select natural Padauk wood, celebrated for its rich reddish-brown tones and exceptional durability. Its grain tells the story of years under the sun and rain, making every board unique. The wood’s natural hardness and stability ensure it will serve beautifully for years to come.

Ocean Waves, Crafted by Hand

Every wave is poured, swirled, and detailed entirely by hand. The resin is guided with precision tools, mimicking the moment water crests and breaks upon the shore. Each layer is cured before the next is poured, adding depth and movement. No two boards are ever alike — each one is a singular piece of the ocean, preserved forever in resin and wood.

Finished with Care, Made for Life

When the ocean scene is complete, we seal the board with a premium food-safe hardwax oil made from tung oil, beeswax, and natural plant resins. Certified to EN 71-3 European food safety standards, it enhances the wood’s beauty while protecting it for everyday use — safe for you, your family, and your favorite dishes.

More Than a Board — A Piece of the Ocean

This is more than a cutting or serving board — it’s a conversation starter, a meaningful gift, and a daily reminder of the sea’s calm and power. When it’s not in use, it transforms into a piece of art — a handcrafted slice of the ocean you can proudly display in your kitchen, dining room, or living space. Whether you’re serving cheese at a gathering, slicing fresh bread on a quiet morning, or letting it hang as a decorative centerpiece, it brings beauty, meaning, and the spirit of the ocean into every moment.
